I just bought a 1995 Carver 250 and looking for information

For Starters I know it has a Volvo Penta 5.7 because that is on top of the carb.

What out drive ? the number is 4111515440 does that tell you anything?

any links to info on this boat would be appreciated. I was given the manual that came with the boat and it does have some information but, not very much and or not very complete.

Maintenance was not there at all so maybe the boat came with more than one book?

I searched around on Carvers website and it was not very useful either.

Ayuh,... Volvos are designated with abuncha letters,...

5.7GsI or whatever...

Find That, 'n any serial #s you find, then post down in the Volvo I/O forum,...
Maybe Don has something stashed away on the web...

You're not missing a great deal to not have a Carver manual, they don't adress much mechanically. They are however helpful for wiring issues. Get the Volvo manual for your year.
