Click on the "Adults Only" sticky at the top of the thread page. Click on the first item, "How to ask a question". First post item #5.

FYI on the internet/electronic communications using all caps is the equivalent to yelling irl

Ok, I used caps to stand out. The forum does not like it well just be plain and say something..... Two of you have hinted at it. I failed to read the, "read before you post"
Gather up the pitch forks yall! Does anyone want to help or did my, "YELLING" really upset someone. Consider title edited.
Am I posting in the wrong category? Wow this was a rough start on my first post in this forum.

Ok I can not figure out how to change the title, or delete this post. I am happy to if someone tells me how.

It's not forum etiquette, nor did you upset anyone. It is a general understanding and has been for the past 20+ years that all caps on the internet/text/email/etc...is to be taken by the reader as yelling.

Also, people are trying to help. Keep in mind in post #3 you asked for advice on testing for a rotten transom. Someone else mentioned it as going too far but prior to that you were getting advice/information you requested.

This is a public forum, anyone can post anything they like as long as it does not include offensive/vulgar/threatening language and is appropo to the thread. At times there is some tongue in cheek banter that in this case was taken the wrong way, apologies

Yeah it was like AHHHH I am frustrated.... I was not yelling at anyone. I understand all caps in communication and writing. But hey who cares about my boat anymore anyway.
I think we should just keep talking about all the mistakes I made in my post and how I should drill holes in my transom.
How about we see how many pages we can rack up with out addressing my question........ Transom... Check!
Whats next, a debate on proper english and grammar? At this point I would not want to help me if I was reading this, but I just do not get the hang up on drilling (with zero direction on where to start drilling or the process).
As much conversation that has gone on here I could have had a game plan for this year and next.

For me, I could care less about the caps or original post. No problem. Who cares.

I gave the best recommendations I could, as did the other posters. Up to you to decide what you accept from us as useful. When everyone has the same advice, and the questioner states he isn't gonna do it, never be surprised if participants just stop bothering.

Alrighty fellow boaters, this thread has been “reported” and seemingly kind of gotten a few degrees off course.

At this time I’m thinking it may be best to just batten down the hatches on this one and hopefully go see if someone else is in need of additional help too.
As always, Thank you to the iboats crew for the hard work you all put in here on the iboats forums just wanting to help others…The help is very much appreciated.👍
