With the cost of wind these days you won't be able to afford to sail it.

It is a J-Boat

The J-100 is geared towards racing and is mostly just a GIANT dingy

My first real sailboat was there J-24

At 130K new there should be some used ones on the market around 2009 when i hope to be ready

super boat, but would be hard to sail here, as our average depth of the St Johns river is 10 feet, definately have to stay in the channel.

It does have roller reefing, which seems kind of dumb on a j-boat. Sort of like putting skinny tires on a Corvette!

If you buy it, take that contraption off!

For a boat like that, the water MUST to be salty.
Can I go???? I'm more used to a Folkboat, and our previous Islander Freeport 41 which was ketch rigged and full keeled, but the J-boats are fast. Sailed on a 24, great fun.
