I was posting on a thread about the Mississippi river and the differences of down South and up North and as I was typing of the splended river views up here, it brought back a memory and a smile.
Every year, at the end of season, we take one last trip over to the Ole Miss and bundled up we brave the weather and cruise for the views of the high cliffs and trees in all of their Autumn beauty. In 1994, we were expecting our first child.
I had commented on what a beautifull Autumn day it was as it was warm, sunny, and you just couldn't ask for a better day.
A few weeks later, our daughter was born and when asked for a name (we already had one picked out), without hesitation, I said Autumn. Without thinking of anything other than that beautifull and my beautifull new daughter, she was named
. It was not untill after the emotional high I was on subsided that I realized, my last name is Day:redface:.
So there you have it. The story of how my daughter was named
Even though sometimes, although the story is true, she wonders if I did it on purpose:redface:.
