Re: i knew 'they' were tracking me

In the 60s the CIA had a file on me and my family. Apparently, there were even pictures of me in it. Supposedly, these were all destroyed but I never got to see the file.

I love technology. I love the fact that friends can follow me on Google Maps when I travel and go diving. It's part of being social in this Social Media age. I think I am going to buy a "Spot" to enable that even more. I post here, on my own forum, on Facebook and on Twitter. Recently, when I hit 5,000 "friends, I changed my personal Facebook page to a Fan Page. My SO was tired of our relationship being shared by so many peeps. I've got nothing to hide so it didn't bother me. I have thought of relocating elsewhere, but that's because of an overly litigious environment. Having a chip would be nice I think. If I get lost at sea, they'll be able to ID me after the crabs eat my face off. :D

They can track you with your cell phone rcords. Dang nothing private anymore. Thinking that new toilet I bought has a cammera built in to check how many cheeseburgers I ate.

You can thank Bill O'Rielly's Factor that onstar will now end tracking you when your contract ends. Before that they would track you until you called them to cancel thier tracking. Who Knew till O'Rielly exposed that this was going on. You may want to still call them to tell them to cancel there tracking of you.

Re: i knew 'they' were tracking me

I'm on google maps in street view twice now. I've got nothing to hide so if you know where I'm at I'm cool with that... lets hook up for a beer or lunch. If you break into my home your face is nicely recorded by the security camera facing you at the front door and the others around the back if you choose to go there. Orwell's 1984 was just the preamble of things to come. If I fall down hopefully one of these technologies will help someone find me like that guy in Cali. He wrecked in a ravine and was trapped for 6 days with a guy who wrecked a couple of weeks earlier and didn't survive.

Re: i knew 'they' were tracking me

I just read this morning that cell phone carriers store information regarding which cell towers your phone is pinging for up to 4 years! My provider holds the info for 1 year.

Now onto the tinfoil hat subject, students from MIT released a disturbing report:

"Among a fringe community of paranoids, aluminum helmets serve as the protective measure of choice against invasive radio signals. We investigate the efficacy of three aluminum helmet designs on a sample group of four individuals. Using a $250,000 network analyser, we find that although on average all helmets attenuate invasive radio frequencies in either directions (either emanating from an outside source, or emanating from the cranium of the subject), certain frequencies are in fact greatly amplified. These amplified frequencies coincide with radio bands reserved for government use according to the Federal Communication Commission (FCC). Statistical evidence suggests the use of helmets may in fact enhance the government's invasive abilities. We speculate that the government may in fact have started the helmet craze for this reason. "
