Having to call BoatUS for a tow is quite discouraging, along with paying over $1k for indoor winter storage, and my pending fears of having to feed a pair of V8's through twin 100 gallon tanks doesn't help...

But it's so awesome when things are going well that it's all ok

Hey Mac! I'm doing fine, other than it's wintertime... or at least its supposed to be-- Here it is, December 1st, I live 12 miles from some of the best ski resorts on earth, and at 7:00 am this morning it was 51?? Been extremely warm lately...

Heck your a Southerner with a much longer season than us. The difference is the obsession switches to snowmobiles which carries you through to the next boating season. Once kids summer sports kick in, subtract tournaments, family stuff, bad weather, and other things that take you off the boat and the season is really short. In the winter given we haven't had snow for two years, most of the obsession is with the weather man not actually riding.

Yeah, i have a lake/boating picture book that i keep on the mantle in the house. I like to flip thru and look at it with my kids and keep them (and me) excited about the upcoming season. My smartphone has tons of pics too... that i can thumb thru when its slow at work. And of course... trolling on iboats helps keep the motivation going too!
