I missed my boat until we had this warm weather here in Philly. I started working on it and found wet wood! LOL! Nothing like bad news as a motivator to take a break and reorganize.

We're getting warmer weather that's quickly getting rid of the snow here in Ontario. I also went to the boat show here in Ottawa 1 1/2 weeks ago to get my boating fix.

New boat arrives the first week of May

Well seeing is how you and I are both Hurricane owners, you'll appreciate this.

I picked up a 2010 SS188 (currently running a 2002 GS170 with a 2001 115 Johnson) with a 2010 175HP Merc Optimax.

Counting down the days (52 that is) until she arrives

Wet with some minor rot I think. I was cutting 4" holes for thru transom exahust and found it. I think I am going to let it dry and do some poking around to see how bad it is. It's wet way up above the drive so I am afraid to look down lower! LOL!

Not me! I've decided to preserve my boat and leave it under cover this summer.
