I need to replace the prop on my 70hp Force. I've found a brand new Turning Point Hustler prop w/hub kit for $63 shipped, which is about half the price of a Quicksilver prop of the same diameter and pitch.

Anyone ever use one or have thoughts about the Hustler props? Worth the money in this case, or should I just pony up the difference for a Quicksilver replacement?

Thx!

Welcome,
From reading a participating here the Hustler is a prop that can deliver close to ss performance.
They are a very agressive prop and it appears unpredictable to the point of wondering if miss labeled. Keeping in mind the unpredictability I wouldn't go with a pitch higher than your present
unless you are over reving now.You should read the stickies at the top of the page.If you can give us your present performace specs and tell us what performance you want to change
we should be able to help better.

I agree 100%. I bought one, it's pretty looking, after running it for a month it's now my 3rd spare. Mine acted like a higher pitch prop, my RPMs vs the same pitch stock prop dropped about 250. If I had bought a lower pitch I may have loved the prop. Give us more info if you want help.... basically from my experience with the Hustler, if you want more/about the same RPM's drop 2 inches of pitch, if you want fewer RPMs get the same pitch as you have now.
