I need help finding the year to a 25hp evenrude

I GOT A 25HP EVENRUDE FROM A FRIEND,SERIAL#25102S-E07230, I got it to start and it sounds strong but its in need of some big time work,Can some one help me find the year and where to get used parts?

thanks kiwi for the info on my 25 evenrude,Man i was clue less, my freind said it was an (82-86)model,It runs good,and now i could order a manual.<br /> well thanks again
