I have a two bladed Sears outboard. There is a small metal plate under the front of the outboard and above the transom clamps. It has the following numbers:

6092

09511 B

Can anyone help me identify what yaer she is? Thanks in advance for your help!

Thanks for your response. I had no idea what I was dealing with. It starts up and runs for about 5-10 seconds then stops. After it stops it takes a few minutes before it starts again and it only runs for about 5-10 seconds or so. I have replaced the 2 fuel lines but I'm figuring that the carb./float is the problem.

Sounds to me like the carb needs to be cleaned and redone, i would imagine it has some gum in the small little passigeways of the high low speed airways :)

Sometimes there is a filter inside the tank. Usaually if you remove the fitting the filter comes with it.Probably could just check the flow first.
