I got my throttle control button unstuck by taking the control module apart. After you take the back there are 4 screws you take out to take the inners out. Under the inners by the throttle arm base there are like 6 leaf springs that sit against base. My problem is I dont know how to put the inners back in and be able to hold the leaf springs where they are supposed to be. Has anybody done this and know the trick for this? Where should I put the grease or lube on the button so it doesn't get stuck again?

Good info Lrider. Thanks for the links. If you have the instructions for the actual box on the other side of the handle that is where I am having problems. A breakdown and reassembly of that would be great. I don't know if they made a service manual for that or not. Hopefully somebody else has had to put it back together with info. I am also wondering if I could put an external switch to overide the neutral safety start switch in case this happens again so I'm not dead in the water.

I found it. I was looking under the classic console but I see on the other series it gives my some idea on how to do it.
