I need help with info, Please.

Hi Folks,

I need some help with finding out about a Scottie-Craft boat, I just bought a nice Scottie-Craft this weekend, it has a Evin rude 35 HP Lark, I have found out the outboard is a 1957 and I think this is the same year as the boat but I am not sure. I have done a internet search several times and I have not found much info at all. Any help would be great,

there is probably not a hull id number if it is a 1957 boat. they were not required until 1972. and i had never heard of them until now, and did a search. the 35 Lark is an excellant motor. parts are available.

Hi guys and thanks for the quick response, I did try fiberglassics.com but no info about this Scottie-Craft. I was told that the person that had this boat took really good care of her and she ran when he took ill and could not enjoy her any more, she than sat in a garage for 10 years and then moved to a barn for another 3 years and then I got lucky and bought her for 400.00 with motor and trailer, lucky me. I have already did some checking and work on the Lark motor and it will run and I need to apply some elbow work to the hull and get her cleaned up and looking pretty, but I know she is going to be pure enjoyment, I think that might be her name but if any one has a idea, just let me know. I'll keep checking and I know I will enjoy the iboats web site. thanks again.

well, I was wrong about fiberglassic.com, they had some info in the glassified.
some one is selling a 1958 Scottie-Craft express cruiser. and it looks almost like mine but just a few details different, so thank you all very much. I knew this site was going to be golden. as they say in the spring, he swings, hits and it's a home run.
