I recently purchase a 1975 Johnson 115 with great compression. I have it on a stand while the boat is being restored. But I went out and started it the other day and saw a very small amount of gas leaking out from the base of the air silencer cover. I'm talking like a slow drip. It seems to be coming from the silencer to manifold hose. As of now ther is no sealer on the air silencer cover, but it appears that there used to be silicon around the perimeter of it? Any ideas?? BTW engine runs great even with the small leak.
