I need pics of a carbed 4.3 V6 top front, top back, sides, and as low as you can go, with accessories on a running motor please.
The story,
Back in 2001 bad things happened to my 87 carrera. Dropped it into the river, fired it up and had trouble keeping it running. Finally got it to stay running, ran it up river about a mile turned round and went back. When I returned to the marina it kept dieing. I popped the engine cover and what a mess, chocolate milk everywhere (you know thats bad!) I pulled the dip stick and chocolate milk mess. I figured I had a bad ead gasket. I pulled the heads and couldnt see anywhere where the heads were leaking
. I pulled the motor and tore it down. It sat like that for a couple of months, the cylinders had a minor rust film on them and when I examined them closely you could see a cylinder was split. Ok found the culprit. I took the motor to a friend of a friend that claimed he builds motors, well 3 years later and a hundred or so phone calls I got my motor back, still in pieces with no work done. Well thats why I dont pay for work before the work is done. Its now 8 years later and I decided I need to get this thing back on the water. Motor is done and in, Where the heck does the breaker go and where does the power steering cooler mount . I took loads of digital pics when I tore it down, that computer crashed .........oh about 2005.
If you can help me out I would surely appreciate it.
