I need the red plastic piece that holds the shifting cable into bracket . It has a metal clip going through it to hold cable. The red plastic piece broke. so when i try to reverse it seperates. I tryed uploading a photo but I couldnt get it to work. I have searched for new cables. but it doesnt seem to come with new pieces.. So maybe if i had a name i would have better luck finding it. Thanks for any help!

WOW, without a picture or two and the type, model, HP, and manufacture of the engine in question, I can't think of anything. I have a plastic adjuster that fits in a bracket on the side of the engine lower cowling and allows you to adjust the cable. And you can buy them separately as well. But we will need more info and pictures to offer better help... JMHO!
