I need to know what kind of fuel line and primer I need.

I have a 1966 Clinton 5hp model J9 outboard motor but it has no fuel line or primer. I purchased a universal line and primer but the tube is to big. I am looking for someone who does or has owned one, or knows alot about this kind of motor to tell me what I need to purchase to get this motor running again.

Well, I guess I would work back from the fuel connection at the motor, if this motor takes a separate tank. If you have a connector, you can tell which fuel line size is needed. If you have no connector, you need to figure out what connector was used -- or just replace the whole thing (fuel pump to inlet) with contemporary fittings.
