Sorry guys... I have really been busy.

To stand correct, the tach is set on 12 pole, and the prop is actually a Hustler 13-1/4 X 19 pitch. The old prop was a 21 pitch. I also plan on raising the motor one notch this weekend.

Yeah yeah... I know. The previous owner mounted the sonar for the depth sounder by the drain plug. I never moved it seeing that I thought it would not cause any problems. Does it need to be moved?

Still... I need your all's opinion on the bulb not ever getting hard. Should it get hard even when you pump on it while the motor is not running?
Yes, the bulb should fill the carbs as you pump, when the fuel level is up to the point the needles seat, the bulb will become hard because the float/needle will not allow anymore fuel through.
So I have a question regarding Stumpys fuel bulb not getting hard. Mine does the same thing 90 percent of the time. Doesn't get hard when pumped while engine is not running. I have rebuilt the carbs/fuel pump/new fuel filters/new fuel lines/cleaned fuel tank...what is causing this? Mine is a 73 Rude Model # 135383M
