Hey tstubbs, welcome to the forums. You don't need 1000 posts to find this place helpful. But first off, just to let you know, all capital letters is the internet equivalent of yelling. Lower case please.

Have you tried marineengine.com? They have exploded views of various motors. See if you can find the part there. Let us know what you come up with.

Isn't it just a stainless bolt with a stainless locnut?
Ace hardware.

tstubbs, we need more information in order to properly answer your question. There are many possible cables and hookups. Does your cable go through the tilt tube? If so, you need a link arm kit, available here at iboats. But reading between the lines, I suspect your cable is anchored to the transom or splashwell. In that case you need a clevis kit. You can't just simply bolt the cable to the motor because it has to swivel and tilt, all at the same time. Here is the clevis kit: http://www.iboats.com/Stainless-Ste...4514752--**********.885259270--view_id.192760

Re: I really need some help finding parts!!

appreciate your help fellas.. I assure you i was not intending on "yelling"! Thanks because i had no idea it would come across that way. I just get aggravated on information forums because most do not respond unless you have many posts... Kinda like your not in the "click".
anyway.. after about a week of looking and 2 rude boat shops i FINALLY found what i am needing.... A simple steering arm kit.. mine had the quik disconnect (deemed unsafe) so i am replacing the whole arm instead of just the "coupler."
thanks again
i do find this website very helpful!!!
