Ok then lets look at this one now....
If that picture is of the drive you're considering, what you're calling the "raw water pump" looks like the shift actuator housing.

Look at your year model drive exploded diagram and compare to 95 and newer OMC/SX drives. There's a pretty significant difference. ALL OMC/VP SX drives 1995-ON use an engine driven raw water pump. The "housing" on the SX where the raw water pump was on earlier drives is the shift actuator housing.
I also don't think ANY interim [90-93] OMC Cone-Clutch drive had "Volvo Penta" written anywhere on it.
