I'm back! The server glitch kicked me off and deleted all my posts too... that's not very nice! I'd like to hear more about the 'wild' rides! Who's been over 80 mph... really?

I was once in a customized formula at about 70mph …I love speed but there is just no safe way to go that fast on the water!!!

I got upto to 80 mph in a kayak. That's right, a kayak. The vessel slow considerably when I hit the rocks! I wouldn't try this at home.

A bunch of us got together yesterday and played around. A buddy was a little miffed that he only ran about 123. Last weekend he touched 125. <br /><br />My "school bus" 20' Hydrostream (seats 5) was running pretty good. I only had to turn 5900 (it'll turn 7000+) to run 75 with 3 of us guys in it. <br /><br />A good time was had by all!

115 with Howard the Duck....Quack Quack..(Dhadley-lol)...<br /><br />The thing that freaked me out the most was listening to the motor wind up around at least 7000 rpm... WAAAAAHHHHHHAAAAAAA..... I was waiting for it to start spitting parts out the sides of the block....

i thought DH might have something to say on this topic. lol<br />good on ya mate. <br />if we ever have an iboat member poker run, i'll not be riding with any of you guys- i'm chicken! <br />i ran 72 once in a friend's brand new 21' bassrocket, and that was all i cared for. (especially since it was in Dec in AL and that motorcycle helmet didn't keep me from freezin my ears off)

I was in a 21 ft Triton with the 225 Merc Optimax. GPS says we were doing 78 and I have the underwear to prove it. Same boat last year, the guys fishing partner comes home with his <br />right ear looking like a dog tried to rip it off. Says they were doing 75+ down the St.Lawrence <br />and his ear picks up a speed wobble...started flappingand beat the crap out of the side of his head. Wouldn't have believed it myself except that I saw the bruises.
