Hi folks,
I went out Sat night for my first ever night striper fishing. The sea was a bit rough 4 ft swells, and we were anchored 150 feet off a rock jetty. I have eaten a large sub about an hour before, and 30 min into the trip I started getting sea sick? I've been out on many boats, small and large, and never had problems. Why this time? Did it have to do with night? Guess i'll pack the Dramimine next trip!! Thanks!

yes it had to do with night. in my experience, if you cant see land your brain doesnt know how to process the movement, and you get sick (depending on how sensitive you are). I practically live on my boat in the summer but I have found that in rolling waves I cannot stay down in the cabine for even a 1/2 hour....I thought the motion would lull me to sleep. NOT! :)

So I am thinking in the dark you couldnt see anything to create a reference point for balance.
