I think I jinxed us Northern guys!

Sorry guys, but I think a put a jinx on us. My wife told me that I should wait a couple of weeks, but nooooooooooo, I had to go to the farm and bring the boat to the house! I've got stuff that I want to do to it. Now we've got about an inch of snow on the ground and it's still coming down hard!

youll have to relocate to canada. the water didnt even get hard 3 hrs east of vancouver.

its been summer here for a month and a half !....

Same thing happened to me here in Oregon. Pulled the boat out for the shake down run with the new motor, yesterday was 75 degrees and sunny. Today...38, blowing 20 mph and raining hard as can be. Needless to say the boat stayed in the driveway

Sorry.....ours stopped too. We ended up with about 1 1/2", but it's supposed to be 55 today so it should all melt!

May have been part of the Jinx also Wensday I started up the boat and blew out the fogging oil. We got a dusting of snow this morning. Hope all the water drained out of it.

Not a jinx at all. I've noticed we always get a short return of bad weather right around the NCAA Tournament time. Typically around Final Four time. If you start tracking it, you'll find it to be true. Weird, but don't worry, it'll be short lived.

Nope, Its that Ohio weather. Don't like it, just wait a day or two and it'll change. I remember I think in 2006, I had my boat in its slip the 2nd week in April. The 3rd weekend I spent onboard, I woke up Saturday morning to see 3" of snow on the dock. Next day it was sunny and 70........SS

Keep flying those Canadian flags Rainman and Avenger. It's keeping all the snow south of us. Haven't seen a flake since the BIG GAME. Worked on my small boat this afternoon in my shirt sleeves.

Last week it was 70, now it's 40 and the woodstove
is going (again).

My boat is still in storage so I'm NOT part of this jinx thing
going on.

My rule here in Central Michigan is never fire up the boat (I/O) before April 20th regardless of the weather.
Historically we get one last shot of winter the 2nd or 3rd week in April

well took the boy and my old lady to the beach today. it was beautiful, water was a little cool but nice after you were in the sun for awhile. dug a hole large enough to fit me and my son in, and about three and a half feet deep. gotta love living in ft. lauderdale
