Removed the engine this morning for some winter projects and found some delaminated glass. Which at one time appears to have been half ***** repaired before we got the boat

1024 x 683 is not an acceptable forum photo size

640 x 480 is the proper size

Please do not post any more photos until you have them posted at that size.

Regarding those cracks, most look to be in the original glass work. I see some half assed repairs, looks like they just poured resin on top of the cracks. You have two choices: Make the repairs fully assed by just pouring more resin on top, or do it right and grind away the cracked gel down to solid glass and add a layer or two of mat to replace what was ground away.

The engine is out to have the bilge repainted. I will grind out all the old stuff an lay fresh stuff.

the reason for the photo size, is the larger ones widen the page, and we have to scan right and left to see the pic, and read the text. i personally skip over them.

That might be freeze damage, water seaps in and freezes, you end up with heaves. Looks like a simple fix.
