well, less consider this, would you rather have a free bumper sticker, or the great forum? this forum is paid for buy iboats.com, and advertisers on the forum. i would much rather have this free help.

YEp I agree hole hearted with yea tashasdaddy, and I would pay for them , and I will just told the wife thats what I want as one of my birthday presents, I feel that strong that if i didnt have this site I wouldnt be boating this weekend, cause my boat would have fallen apart !!

And for another thing I am proud to be a menber of this site with all the great people on here and if it keep IBoats in buesness I am all for it !!

I like a lot of stores but I have yet to pay to give them free advertisement. Heck, I have taken every decal from any dealership from my vehicles... I will advertise them for free. The only place I paid to "advertise" is the fly fishing group we have and it is non profit. I do respect though those that are willing to pay, is just not me.

Well, I can say this. Iboats is the only place I order parts from that doesn't send out decals, pens, or hats with an order. It still seems like really cheap advertising to me, to send out stuff like that. I sure know that the Guy Farms Trucking pens I have left around here at the bank, gas station, ect. have gotten me a lot of business from people that didn't know I did that kind of work. So to me the $25 I spent on 200 pens paid off really well.

Another reason for this decal is it lets other boaters know yer not just some yutz with a boat. That you have acquired some knowledge of what your doing be it wrenchin or boatin. And I would gladly pay a couple bucks for one.

How about making a few virtual bumpber sticker/decals. A one time effort, and then we can down load and print them on bumper sticker paper (available at places like Staples and Office Max, etc).

That way, iboats just spends a little time creating the graphic, and we supply the paper and ink.

A few hours time gets iboats hundreds if not thousands of free advertisements on boats, trailers, trucks, etc.

Run that up the flag pole at the next staff meeting.

Maybe the sticker or decal could be customized with our user id on it, eh?

What I am hearing from the folks who are not keen on a decal/sticker is that the forums will be compromized if iboats spends about 8 cents per sticker.
Get it? EIGHT CENTS.... If you can not order 2000 stickers to add to the already exorbitant shipping costs.... What can you say about this comapny?

I know the customer service is great. But the shipping costs are the pits.

You folks need to pull your heads out of the dark cavity and look at all the other companies that include a decal/sticker with their auto parts order, electronics order, sports/extreme products orders.

Its not too much to ask.

iboats had best pay heed and just include the stickers in the orders, and offer a free download.
