Hi guys , Well i went threw the service dept, seeing they didnt have my motor listed, it is a 1962 1000 100hp merc, can some one please tell me what props will fit , right now it has a alim, 19 pitch 13inch, I would like a stainless.
now they did have thru 1977 115 hp but noyhing for the 100 hp , can anyone help ??? thanks john

1962 1000 100hp merc,

Ayuh,... What is the propshaft spline count,+ size, relative to the 1977 115 hp,..??

sorry its a 15 spline and on the old prop the outer dim, is
3 7/8 on the base of the prop, Is there anyway to cross ref, the old prop ?? the old prop numbers are
A8 65024A1 19p
then there is 9072 doth under stand thoes number there. thanks for all the help !!! john

that P/N does cross to a 13X19 Merc prop.
Newest P/N for Merc is 48-77346A40= 13X19 for 1000 thru '77.
Michigan wheel P/N is 031043.
Here's your choices in 19P. Yes, it says 90hp, but the 900-1500 series ALL use the same hub.

I was thinking that was right , but was wondering when the service dept said that they didnt have a prop to fit !! they didnt have the 1000 ,or 100hp listed . wouldnt you think the service dept should have knowen that ??? think i will write them back and let them know . thanks john

iboats doesn't have the info on the 900-1500...that's where I come in.
Sometimes the data is incomplete, but that's not iboat's fault....they got alota choices there.
If you find a prop you want, just call'em on the customer service line, and give them the sku#....tell'em walleyehed sent ya.........
When/if you call, ask for "Mem"....yes...Mem. she'll fix ya right up! ))
