I was recently given a montgomery ward sea king 7hp motor . What oil miture and it was running when put away 15 + years ago does not spark ???? points and coil area spotless ? Ideas also what year is it 700 2107 model number. Clinton motor works.

Monkey Ward usually coded the year into the serial number (reversed) In other words 37X1212 would be a 1973. K700 was made for several years. The KTV or XTV model number would be more help.

Are you positive the points contact faces are shiny bright clean? Clean them up and try it again.

k700 only number 1975 ohio outboad sticker on case will clean points and retry tonight . Oil mixture ??
