Id ss plate in 1996 5.7 alpha 1 gen 2lower unit

I remove lower unit on alpha 1 gen 2 serial#0F784848 to do impeller and this ss plate drop out, I don't know where it fit to and need help to reinstall it. Appreciated all the help you guys can give. DH

exaust shutter loosen clamps and slide down rubber coupling hose R/R shutter ,raise hose and reclamp
