looking for a website that shows detailed exploded diagrams , with part names and numbers. for a 1956 seahorse 5.5 , ............any help would be greatly appreciated

Far as I can tell you have a Model CD-13.

Furthest back I can find of exploded view parts diagrams on the web is 1968. Crowleymarine.com and Boats.net have all the diagrams going back to 68'

I do know you can get old parts catalogs and owners manuals for about $21 from Ken Cook Company. Here is your model I believe. Double check that.
