My 1957 Whitehouse has an HIN......... I'm just sayin.
They are easy to lose over the years. Many used stickers back then.
Good Luck! She looks great.

An ORIGINAL HIN? From 1957? I dont think so. If it does, its the 1st one I've EVER heard of that does. I've seen lots of vintage boats, own several, scrapped and sold a few and seen hundreds posted online asking about HINs.

It might have a serial#, and at some point in it's life the ser# was used as a HIN (I have 2 1960 Glastrons, a 67 Larson, and a 57 Feathercraft w Ser#s used as HINs) or it was a state issued HIN that likely wont conform to the 1st 3 positions of the HIN are letters that ID the boat maker, I have 3 WV issued HINs, 2 on trailers and another on a boat.

Run your HIN thru a HIN decoder, I'd bet it comes back other then from 1957 or Whitehouse.

Other possible is that an owner somewhere along the line made the HIN up themselves. I know of that happening more then once.

Welcome aboard ... that's a late 60's early 70's boat. It's no surprise there's no HIN on it. Sometimes up by the helm, and sometimes back under the splash well there is another plate with manufacturer and serial number.

After that you might also try looking around in HERE some.

Thanks. I'll check those spots tomorrow with crossed fingers.😀

Nice boat. I think it 'might' be an early to mid 60's on the year. What year is the motor? That 'might' get you near the right year. Maybe :)

Thanks. I have not checked the serial# to determine year, but it's an Evinrude twin ski 33 and best I can tell is they only make it in that form from '65-'70

Hull numbers were not required until I think 1972, and this is easily a fair bit before that. Looks easily mid 1960's. Nice little runabout! You should have a lot of fun with her.

JBcurt,
I hear ya.
Looks like I got the first one ever.
I'm the second owner, original owner kept her inside out of the sun.
Transom original, gelcoat original, 1956 evinrude 30 original, foil sticker with hin stuck in splashwell original. seats not original,
Gator trailer original - with "custon" serial number from 1st owner!
True, govt didnt require HIN's till 1972 but it seems that SImpson Sears did.
My HIN is only readable if you use magnification, but it is there.
You're welcome to check it out if you're ever in the neighborhood.
