Identify oring in alpha 1 water pump kit

I usually order my Alpha 1 water pump kits from Basic power.GLM is their main brand.Every kit has a plastic bag with multiple gaskets and orings.Kits dont include base.What are the large o rings for??? By large I mean the ones that are larger than the impeller.Thanks Charlie

The large o-rings are for the base where it pilots into the gear housing. All the w/p repair kits come with the same gasket and o-ring kit regardless wether or not they include the housing or base.

Thought after all the years of doi ing my water pumps,I may have been missing something.
