Idiot finally reads dockside guidelines

I have just read the chat guidelines again. Sorry for the political crap. I love a good argument but should have watched my manners and stayed away from the politics. I have now learned my lesson. I appreciate very much all the help I got on this forum for my outboards and will stick to that from now on....
please forgive me if my annoying posts have made anyone uncomfortable.... I know it's made me uncomfortable. By the way, the picture contest was neat.

I find that my life is happier when I stay away from posting much in the DC side of things. Great place for boating info, not such a friendly place for some political viewpoints. I have been drawn in again in following the thread about the PNW get together, but have been reminded of why I left last time.

To date political discussions are allowed as long as they remain civil (which they never do). It just makes much more work for us mods.

Personally, I would like to see more threads about fishing, boating and other life adventures.

I know how aggravating discussing politics is, it usually puts me in a bad mood. I no longer post in those type of discussions because I prefer to go through my day unagitated by an argument with someone I've never met.

There are plenty of interesting topics to discuss. Our life's journey is filled with more than politics.

Wow, JbJ. Don't be so hard on yersef. I thought your participation here has been very respectfull of the rules, and you're actually more polite than many, including me. I kind of just bluntly say what is on my mind here.
But Give it a few weeks.. This aint exactly "daily kos" or "watcher of the weasels". It's a well-ballanced place where everybody respects everybody else.. ok ok... We try anyhow

ditto's on that 12. I thought i was political and religious minded until i started reading these posts. I've learned i'm wet behind the ears, on polotics at least. I do know that people who post here are realllllllllly up on things, and i've learned a lot.

I listen to talk radio every day and try to keep up, but i don't hold a candle to most.
