They are streaming a whole bunch of the games. Basically anything I can see on TV I can see online. And then 4 more channels.

Watching womens hockey and just finished watching Canada beat the US in mens curling.

Sure does beat working.

On top of shunting the hockey games off to MSNBC, which I don't have on my satelite package , NBC is blocking out the live and full game replays online unless you have CNBC & MSNBC on your satellite or cable subscription.

Hehe. Funny to see people complain about not being able to watch other people do stuff. If you come to my house, I have some paint you can watch dry in 3D!

Canada vs USA mens hockey. What's NBC do with it? They put it on standard definition way down on MSNBC. Meanwhile, on the prime HD channels they're carrying a bunch of things people in the US don't care about, and which the USA typically doesn't do well at. Even though much of the country doesn't care much about hockey, the Canada versus USA rivalry would have given them a bunch of viewers if the coverage hadn't been put on a basement channel.

Oh, that explains why I'm NOT watching the Olympics this year. I stay on the HD channels, when I click to the Olympics, I get commercials or interviews with self described experts,... the usual all sport commentators on NBC. Better things to do....

I'd rather watch curling than ice dancing any day of the week.

Then again, I'd rather watch curling than hockey.

What I can't figure out is why I'm so fascinated with watching the bobsleds. You can't tell what the driver is doing and the announcers are all like "Oh no!! Disaster has struck. He's 3/4 of an inch low on that turn, and that means he's lost 3/10,000 of a second. A tragedy for this once proud team!!"

When its less than a third of a second from first to last place, 3/10,000 of a second is a life time.

i thought homer already won the curling
