I did the winterizing thing today and fogged the motor. Fired it up with the LU in a barrel after not running it for about 3 weeks or so and she fired up ok - idled at around 1400 RPM which is high i think and poped every 3 or 4 seconds consistently. Is this pop normal or does this sound like the carbs are set too lean? When I had it at the lake, idle was normal around 750 and no pop that i can remember. Is it cause it was cold possibly? Also, when i took the plugs out the top plug was very dirty, bottom two weren't that bad. I filled up with 93 octane (will run this through in the spring and use mid-grade for the year) and lots of sta-bil for the winter. Thanks for the advice.
