I did observe a big spark also  underneath the fly wheel (forward and port)the egine only ran for about 2 seconds! any thoughts????
Sean

No answers but lots of questions. Like:
Have you had the flywheel off? If so, did you torque it back to specs?

Better to make sure you have not broken the key, so pull the flywheel and check.

If it's OK replace, and torque. My opinion 115 ftlb, but I don't have the manual for your motor, so maybe someone will give you the exact #.

I would not run the motor again without doing this first.

P.S. An eight pound Frisbee with teeth can be a formidable adversary. Use a torque wrench even if you have to rent one. (My opinion)
