Sorry Don ,when i had get the boat i get it all pull to peices, and i have rigged the new engine in it whoever the new distributor only have a b+ and a tach connection , i was only asking if this would aid me in any form of way(ignition amplifier) .

Any way you could post some pictures of your distributor and wiring?
