C-91-62563a1 I'm having a real hard time figuring out how come im leaking voltage thu plug wires, I have checked all grounds, have new switch, trigger, coils and stator... I have not checked rectifier yet ..wondering if this analyzer is useful any thoughts on what might be causing this voltage leak which is giving me misfire rough idle .. Compression and fuel are good ...thoughts ....tks in advance Capt.

I'm new, what does leaking voltage through plug wires mean?

Cdi electronics.com is the king of ignition parts, don't by ignition parts on e-bay, fill in your year make hp,and part, start with coil, scroll down for trouble shooting for every ignition part.
You said your replaced the coils ,now do power packs, then rectifier/regulator.
My gut says if coils are new it's the power pack(s), you can test them by swapping with the other power pack .Keep us posted

What motor do you have year and serial #. If you are leaking voltage through the plug wires usually the wires themselves.

A good meter with a DVA adapter is all you need to test you ignition. Explain this leak a little better, if its arcing out of the wires replace wires.
