Ignition and safety switch testing

Have a 1972 65 Hspr. Evinrude, electic shift, and want to know how to test the ignition switch, and safety switch in the conrol box. Have a Ohm meter. Have taken the ignition switch out of the box and can also take the safety switch out if I have to.<br /> Thanks,<br /> Skip

You need a manual here, it would take to long to exsplain.

Have a 73 manual but it's not the same as the 72. Can't find a 1972 manual, that's why we contacted you. Any help greatly appreciated.<br /> Thanks,<br /> Skip
