would it be okay to run the coil grounds to the starter mounting bolts - i bought a cdi switchbox and they are made with plastic cases thus eliminating re-attaching the grounds to the bolts that fasten the switchbox - the 3 & 6 cyl. switchboxes they sell incororate an extra ground stud within the box but they didnt do this for the 4 cyl. switchboxes .

For an ideal ground, ground all ignition coils to where the switch box is grounded.

well how does this sound - i'm thinking of just using a stainless washer on 1 of the 4 mounting bolts to the switchbox case and attaching all grounds to that bolt that fastens the switchbox to the mounting plate - currently i dont have the switchbox grounded yet ( havent installed it yet ) .

Either method is fine. But the ideal method is to ground all ignition coils to where the switch box is grounded.
