I am looking to replace some ignition components including the voltage regulator and the stator. I am wondering if it is possible to fit the higher output stator (35amps) and a more modern combined reg. rectifier? If not is it possible to fit a combined reg. rectifier with the standard 10amp stator? also the part no. for the voltage regulator on the engine is 0173640 but the part no for the one i took off is 511404 any thoughts?<br />model e140trlcte serial no. j0286775

There wasnt a 35 amp stator for the crossflow V4. But you can put on the water cooled reg/rec. You can use either a standard 10 amp or the 35 amp from a V6 crossflow.
