I'd definitaly check battery water levels and charge it. 12V at the terminals doesn't always indicate power.

Check terminals and main earth connections.

Re: Ignition Switch Problem

Pretty much did all that, I am getting 12 volts to the fuse box. I thought that one of the poles on the ignition switch should have a constant 12 volts also. The strange thing is that nothing on my console is working. I am going to check the motor fuse box tonight.

If you've got 12V at the fuse box you know you're problem is from there to the switch. Its kind of like playing connect the dots, starting with the source (battery). Fuses can look good but be bad when you check them with an ohm meter also. Most problems are loose or corroded connections.

Re: Ignition Switch Problem

I found the problem. It was the neutral switch wire going to the starter solenoid. I was glad that it was not the neutral switch itself. I dont know if i could have replaced it. The control box cover screws were rusted real bad. thanks for all your inputs.
