ignition troubles

1971 Evinrude 50 HP<br />Pointless ignition with power pack<br />Found rectifier bad and replaced.<br />Trying to test charge coils on stator????<br />As well as the sensor on the timing base, power pack itself and the coils.<br />Are there any ohm tests that can help me out here??

Try kencook or theoutboardwizard websites for a factory manual. The manual describes tests for every ignition component.<br />Good luck<br />PS ebay or the library may be options as well
