Ignition Upgrade

I have the twin Mercruiser 888/302 ford. I would like to know if it is posible to get rid of the points ignition and up grade to an electronic ignition system.

Yes, I believe Pertronix makes a kit.
I never had a problem with the points ignition. Some guys here have made the change and are happy with the results.

Pertonix works well. Whatever you get, it HAS to be marine-rated and approved by the Coast Guard.
