Somebody paintballs my sisters car, so she....
Spraypaints yellow dots on one of my Camaros hoods, and then paints my boat motor solid yellow with enamel spray paint im gonna beat her... Luckily i got the dots off my hood with a bit of paint thinner, but im not sure if it will damage the clear coat yet.

The boat motor, the thinner stripped ALL the paint off of. The funny thing is, i was gone with my friends, and my sister said i painted her car. my mom watched her do it and didnt stop her (im going on 21, shes 16).
also, my mom is rewarding her by letting her drive the durango to school tomorrow so she can take all her wanna be friends that just use her.

the paintball as usual washed right off with just water, but she totally ruined my boat motor... she even painted inside the cylinders and all over my brand new set of pistons.

I just got done honing the cylinders yesterday, and was going to put it in the hot tank to clean the block up a bit tomorrow, but she painted everything.

For those of you that dont know, i got this motor (90hp evinrude) and have been dumping money into it to rebuild it and get it running like a top again, now i pretty much have to do it all over again,

if my cars clear coat is damaged, i will royally be pissed.

Anyways, i guess i should ask a question.... what type of paint should i use to re-paint the motor? Im experienced in automotive painting, but im not sure if theres a special paint/process for boat motors since the are in the water all the time.

Also, does anyone know what color the paint is? its an Evinrude Starflite 90-s (1964) and has the dark greyish-green paint on the lower end, and exhaust housing...

Time to pack up and move out, live in the boat if you have to.

Or call the cops, and file charges.

Small claims court is always an option.

Sister or not, that spoiled little brat has to be slapped down. She needs to learn the consequences of her actions, and the value of a dollar, and hard physical labor. I really pity the guy that ends up with her.

With family like that, who needs enemies?

Just my opinion.

I sure hope neither of them are expecting a xmas gift this lifetime.

I'm with roscoe here. I would think regular (high quality) automotive paint would work fine.

yeah, ive been living here since im going to a local college, and dorms/apartments are quite expensive around here when your a broke college student.

So sitting in the water wont harm standard automotive paint?

does anyone know the exact color that im talking about? i would like to re-paint this motor its original colors.

Pic can be seen here of the lower unit...
http://community.webshots.com/photo/93958301/93958359KrJFlH thats the color i need. nevermind all the nuts in there, they are long gone, dang mice :)

Automotive paint is made to withstand very harsh enviroments as well.
I think the only way to get "exact" match is to call manufacturer, but I think they will push you off on the paint because of the process they use and I don't think any Fleet colors would match, but you could mix your own and get close.........Good luck! I feel for ya on this...some people just don't get it...regardless of age...

Automotive paint is fine. I use tremclad black spray paint on my out drive and prop. It works just fine and it's very inexpensive. Even consider changing the color of your setup...just sand first and use a good quality spray primer first before painting....although with the black tremcald I never used a primer and it holds on just fine.

hey how about painting it yellow in hopes she will repaint it the color you want next time.
-
seriously at 16 she isnt going to know things worth until she has something very special to her destroyed.
but be the bigger person and let it be.
what comes around goes around, you wont have to lift a finger.
revenge mite not be too bitter sweat if your own mother sides with her & at 21 you will be held accountable.

Ouch, what a sister you've got. . . .and I thought I had it bad

Take some cole cuts and put them on her car. They will peel eat the paint off, just be sure to do it at night so it will be able to sit for a while, it will need a few hours to work.

Did you have anything to so with her car getting paintballed? If not, thats even worse.

I feel for ya, man.

Mr. Jello,

Admiral roscoe has it right. Please have your sister learn the glory that is our legal system first hand. It seems completely unfair to release your sister into the world that the rest of us live in, without a proper appreciation of personal responsibility.

Who knows, maybe your mom will crack open her checkbook to cover for the little darling once she gets questioned by law enforment. Hey mom might even go for a "pain and suffering" payment on top of actual damages.

Item in the kitchen that "might" leave a mark.

1. lunchmeat of almost any kind. Upside-they can be cut into letters.

2. eggs proper time and tempreture makes this time honored weapon a fine annonomus tool.

3. dairy products. When poured or placed in the right vent, a message can be sent for a very long time.

4. sugar. The atomic weapon.

5. seafood. see dairy products.

Can't help with the paint, but good luck.
