I'm going fishing again.

Tomorrow isn't here yet, but I do plan on tomorrow happening. So I've decided to once again go fishing on the Ohio river. I've been blessed with catching some nice catfish recently and I thank the Lord for that. There is a 50% chance of rain in the afternoon but that's a daily occurrence here in the Ohio valley during early summer. Lord,please keep me and my companions save tomorrow and if it is you're will, I'd like to once again catch a "Big 'un".

Don't worry about any rain, T2F. You were born wet and have been wet many thousands of times since. Some of my best successes have been in the rain.

ahhh yes......rain and fog make for very fishy days!!!!

i havent wetted a line in fresh water for at least 10 years, but my eldest son wants me to show him the hot spots in a couple of small connected lakes that i spent countless hours fishing....25 years ago. lm truly looking forward to it !

The heck with a 50% chance of rain. How about 100%. The showers came and quit about 7 times. One event also had some driving rain which really made the rain drops sting. We all had rain jackets only on so our bottoms got a little wet. Make that a lot wet. We were indeed the Soggy Bottom Boys (and girl) out there today.

The fish in the photo was the biggest one caught today. I caught 6 total. Knute(The Heathen) caught zero and Mrs.Tyme caught zero. I tried to teach them how to hook up but they wouldn't listen. I guess I'm a better fisherman than teacher.

Fish don't care if it rains, they love the rain and are already wet.

I forgot to mention one fact. Mrs.Tyme was the "Net Girl" on the 7lb 14oz fish. I think that's the first time she ever netted a fish. A little instruction and a lot of cussing on my part, but she did just fine. O.K.,y'all know I didn't cuss at her. I did have to exclaim loudly though, "Get the net in the water. This fish ain't jumping up into it!!"

Knute (The Heathen) was at the stern of the boat also giving her instructions. Maybe the "stereo" affect she received slowed the learning process.

I'm still proud of her and the extremes she's going through this year when she goes fishing with me. This was the first time she ever went fishing knowing she was going to get rained on. She took the rain like a trooper.

Well, sort of. I actually had to lift the fish into the net. That defeats the purpose of a net.

Nah, net was closer to water level than the boat. Less lift ... Assist!
