I'm located in Missouri, and have collected antique outboard motors in parts, & have enough parts for 2 johnson td-20's, 1 merc mark-25 & 1 mark-28. Almost all of the parts came from junk boxes, and have no titles or bills of sale...owners passed on etc...any clues as to how I can LEGALLY put these beasts on the water without badly bruising my finances?

On the Legal part, just check with DMV or whomever does the licensing of outboard motors in your area, they can issue you one.<br />On the part about bruising your finances...... that is going to depend on what parts are bad, what's still missing, and what the price and availability of replacement parts and gaskets will cost, if you can even find them.
