It seems that my approach to troubleshooting by asking questions of some of the poster(s) who's name(s) I will not share is annoying to such posters. Seeing as how I live in the great white north and the boats don't like ice what would be the point of sticking around the forums to offer FREE advice. Maybe this is a sign from god to take up a winter hobby such as building igloos. Maybe one day i'll come back to the forums when certain posters no longer require FREE HELP and ADVICE. God some people **** me off, edit this post or delete it, makes no difference to me. F_R, i'll be sending you cash tomorrow, sorry for the delay.

I am pretty new to this site but I believe everyone that is posting replies deserves credit, there are a lot of people who do not know squat about these topics and yet you take your time to reply and share your knowledge, I would do the same to assist someone because any knowledge you have that you do not share is just wasted. I for one think the postings are commendable and I know the majority of people reading them definately appreciated yours and everyone else's input. Don't let some of the ungrateful spoil what you and the others I have seen have to offer. For me thanks for yours and everyone elses input and knowledge keep up the outstanding information, and guidance.

I also want to personally thank BK as he helped me go from an idiot to a person that is pretty darn good with fixing outboards now. I help local people whenever possible and have sold some pretty darn good running outboards to people that needed them. Thought I might make some money at this but have found by the time you buy them put a few parts in them, I might break even. But its the smile on a young mans face that is buying his first outboard that keeps me going. I love helping new people get started boating and I always refer them to this site as I know you masters will help anyone with a problem. I may even be one who has not thanked you all enough. Seems like I get my answers then fix my problem then off to the next thing without coming back and praising all who have helped me. BK had me send my motor block to him and he diagnosed my bad block. No moneys asked for. That's unheard of this day and age when everyone has their hand out. Anyway thanks to all that have brought me up through the ranks. I really have come along way and that's probably why you don't see me a whole lot on here anymore. I have most all the tools needed now also. Thanks BK and FR and many many others. Mettyfish

Now this is B.S. If you're going anywhere buddy, it's with me to the bar. C'mon BK stick around. I guess I should feel lucky that I haven't experience the kind of nonsense you're describing here. Fortunately, I only had to ask a couple questions, but I have done my best to offer the best advice that I could offer. So far, I haven't got slammed with the debate issues yet, but knock on wood.

Really man, I wish you would stay around. Actually, I wish I would see more of ya here. I always liked your humor and your advice. Like some have said, just take a breather and go out and enjoy a summer on the lake and come back later. I happen to like hangin out here at the forum and have learned quite a bit myself, eventhough I've spent around 30 years twisting wrenches on just about everything that has a spark plug or two in it.

If you go, I'll have to hunt you down and cheer you up.

Yes, I did. It's all driff7's fault. Darn it Some people revive old threads and get me started. LOL Oh well. Wasn't the first time and probably won't be the last. I hope we were able to talk BK into stayin around.
