I'm in Maryland. Waterfront, right where the Nanticoke River hits the Chesapeake Bay. I had a 130 foot pier, with an "L" shaped end, with 2 boat lifts holding my 2 boats.
Sandy ripped away the "L", but the boats are still there, hanging on alone.
I haven't been able to get to them yet, due to dealing with my torn up yard and bulk heads.
I am still PO'd at the pier builders. They built a great 130' deck, unfortunately it should have been a pier.
It needed big fat bolts. Not nails. I've heard that piers built by ATLANTIC MARINE CONSTRUCTION, FRANK HOGUE, really suk, but I really couldn't say so myself, because some outfit like ATLANTIC MARINE CONSTRUCTION, FRANK HOGUE may sue me.
If some oiutfit like ATLANTIC MARINE CONSTRUCTION, FRANK HOGUE tries to sue me, I'd just provide the pics done by ATLANTIC MARINE CONSTRUCTION, FRANK HOGUE. ATLANTIC MARINE CONSTRUCTION, FRANK HOGUE builds a nice looking deck. It's in my yard, after washing up from the strom. All my neighbors decks, not built by ATLANTIC MARINE CONSTRUCTION, FRANK HOGUE are fine.
If you ever get a pier built, Imagine 50 teenagers with sledge hammers bashing on it. You need a pier that can withstand that.
