Re: I'm tired of PMS!!!

Shouldn't be too parked, bro. I've been out three times so far this year!! Though, it was chilly this week. You go out on Priest?

We mostly go to Priest. I live 2 mins from Shutes Branch on OHL, but we like Preist better.

Two weeks ago I pulled her out, got her cleaned up, checked all the fluids and did everything short of throwing the muffs on her and turning her over. Last weekend I had prior commitments on Saturday and Sunday, but I did find time to run her on muffs. This coming weekend (as you probably know) Saturday will be a no go; but I'm still holding out hope for Sunday. I think I may have to take a couple days off work if mother nature don't comply soon.

I'm assuming you hit Priest as well?

Weather has been kinda' goofy ... it was nice out so early, and then spring decided to settle in. Waitin' for the "gully washers" to start up in earnest.

We normally put in down at Fate Sanders on the south end of Priest (it's just really close to home - M'boro), but we've started making the trek up to Elm Hill more often because the north end of the lake is so much nicer. A little longer drive and we can go in Normandy and if we are up for a long day we might drive out to Center Hill.

I've been on the south end of Priest 3 times this year and the north end once so far.

The river is really angry right now. We got 4 inches of rain in like 36 hours a few days ago and it seems like it all went into the river. There is a little flooding here and there but I'm giving it a week, week and a half and we should be able to cure the PMS.
That week to week and a half is only IF we stop getting rain.......Mother Nature, large and in charge!!

Last week I had PMS and BS now I just have PMS but with it being 75 and sunny this weekend PMS might go away.

Here is a pic of my boat last friday. I was forced to take it out of storage April 1st and on a Normal MN winter we are done mid feburary of snow.

We have two snow blowers. One for the driveway, and one for the deck.

We've received about four feet of snow in the last week.

If it's any consolation, I'm just covering mine up for the start of the cold season down this side of the globe, and we had a overly warm, dry summer too ;-)

Ouch!
I've been lucky to get out fishing 5x already and plan to get out again Friday with temps predicted near 80. Yea, spring!

I really feel for you guys still dealing with snow. Our last measurable was April 15 and it was gone in a few hours.

Snow & Cold at the end of April?? Really sorry to hear that! Ice on the lake!!! Hard to believe. A Yankee friend is in town. We took a 4 hour boat ride today in shorts and T-shirts. Not like you are on a different continent! Happy summer,,, if it ever arrives up there!

My PMS is compounded by BS.

Buried in Snow.

Family has a cabin in Pitkin which is near Gunnision. Should I assume it is still buried as well? Haven't been there in a while.

Don't hate but I'm posting this from my boat......been at the marina all day took her out for a little jaunt and gassed her up a bit. It was a bit chilly today (only reached the mid 50's) Did some work in the cabin area and hung a TV out on the slip for entertainment.....had lunch at the restaurant and am now cleaning up my mess and getting ready to head back home. Feeling sorry for the folks up north still dealing with the freezing temps, snow, and ice. :grumpy:

I hope you reach those 70s WIMUSKY. You guys deserve a break. We are still back and forth here in SC. Upper 70s yesterday. Supposed to be 60s and low 70s for the weekend. I am not going to spend gas money on coat wearing boating again. Anyway they are calling for rain both days.
Looks like the weather pattern is stuck between winter and Spring. I am way past tired of it swinging back and forth. I doubt if April will be the end of it. May be a strange Summer pattern too

It sure would help peoples psyche. Everyone seems to be going a little bonkers around here. May have to break out the lawn chair and watch the snow melt! Summer is sounding like it may be a little wacky......

Looks like my weather in Washington state (though your warmer). Rain on the weekends and nice during the week, might be time to suffer some allergies from the pollen.

Re: I'm tired of PMS!!!

Tell me about it! This is getting ridiculous. Warm during the week and chilly and/or rainy on the weekend. This weekend is upper 60s and low 70s. I am not complaining about the rain though since we have had a long string of drought years but these chilly weekends have to go. Those temps don't seem bad until you get on a chilly lake with the wind blowing. Not as bad as the north but no boating is no boating--cold or cool
