Impeller Discharge...

Question on my 1990 50 Hp Force, I was used to a p" hole on my old Johnson were you could see the water discharge off the side of the motor.<br />Where would the water come out of this engine to indicate if the impeller was working properly?<br />Last week before i shorted out my stator i had the motor running off the muff, and could not find were the water was discharging.<br />I remember reading a few posts here and someone mentioned it comes out from the bottom someplace mixed with the exaust?<br />I noticed that some water comes out of the two holes on the middle rear of the motor. <br />Just wondering if my impeller was working properly.<br />Thanks....jas....

On my 1993 40HP force there is a P hole about 1.5ft above the propeller...... Should be pretty obvious. if you see no P, I'd be concerned.<br /><br />~Phil

I did notice some discharege from the bottom of the motor in front of the propeller. Maybe a exhaust hole combined with a water discharge hole?<br />I have a service manual coming this week, i guess it will explain all that stuff. ....jas....
