Where is the water pump/impeller on the 3hp folding outboards? Is it similar to the non-folding models? I'm just wondering, if it folds it must be above the hinge, as the water tube can't fold. Thinking of buying one I saw on Craigs List.
I believe they are still in the same location and still use the same impeller as the non folding models. I think Scott Attwater was the only company crazy enough to mount the impellers above water.
